Program Description

Immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of Nepal's artistic heritage while embodying the values of compassion, social justice, and global citizenship in this transformative semester-long course culminating in a two-week travel experience. Rooted in the traditions of Buddhism and Hinduism, Nepal's artistic legacy reflects a rich cultural heritage that is both awe-inspiring and deeply rooted in the daily lives of its people. Through a combination of academic study, experiential learning, and service-oriented engagement, students will not only deepen their understanding of Nepali art but also actively contribute to the well-being of local communities while pursuing truth in the service of developing awareness of their callings to create a more just, compassionate, and sustainable world.

No previous art background required.
