Program Description

In an age where organizations are increasingly “going global,” from start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations, an individual’s awareness of and exposure to international business and foreign cultures is an essential components of being competitive. This program will provide you the opportunity to experience business in the context of one of the leading European markets.

Course Information: No prerequisite required. *Must enroll in credit if you wish to apply for scholarships.
Optional Enrollment for 3-credits in conjunction with study tour include: Spring 1 credit AND/OR 2 Fall credits for elective credit towards major.

Where: Karlsruhe & Munich, Germany
Located between Franco-Germany border and the famous Black Forest with Baden-Wurttemburg, Germany's third largest state, Karlsruhe is one of the warmest and sunniest cities in all of Germany. The city is a renowned research and study center within the country, with several of the largest technical universities.

Located at the river Isar in the south of Bavaria, Munich is famous for its beautiful architecture, fine culture, and the annual Oktoberfest celebration. Munich is a major international center for business, engineering, research and medicine. It is Germany's most prosperous cities and makes it repeatedly into the top 10 of global quality-of-life rankings.

Accommodations & Meals: You will stay at a hostel immediately adjoining Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. Rooms accommodate 2-4 individuals, and most meals will be provided. In Munich, you will stay in a hotel or around the city center to provide students with access to all the city has to offer.

Program Opportunities Include: German company visits, seminars at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, cultural exchanges, cultural visits in Karlsruhe & Munich, and free time for personal exploration!
